Oh My Poor Babies!!!

Today, I would like to share on my experience for the past 3 months of visiting many-many babies at the hospital. Newborn babies? Well, there were 1 or 2 newborns whom I visited to welcome them into this world but mostly they were visits to my little clients aged <1 to 3 years who were admitted due to high-fever. Total no of admissions since December 2010  till today (2 1/2 months) from my very own clients are 15 admissions!!!
Why the high admission rate for this age-group? Well children below aged 5 and below are more prone to infections and also accidents (bumps & falls) because their body is not strong enough to fight illness. Even normal illnesses such as fever or chicken-pox can lead to other complications if not treated properly. This is why proper special care is important. And specialist care always comes with a price. One night in a private hospital can easily cost RM 1,200 – RM 1,500. What happens if the baby is admitted for a whole week? And re-admitted for another few days after that? ( as in the case of dear Ariff who is only 9 months old)
Hence having a trustable medical card is important. And who else can you trust if not the 1 Billion company (Prudential)? ;)
